Street Art and Architecture
One of the things I really enjoy about photography on the street is finding unexpected scenes and out-of-place objects. Random objects of art—their randomness making them art in my eyes—bring a kind of joy I can’t describe. For example, why would someone leave a seemingly good pair of shoes carefully placed on the curb of a sidewalk or arrange a collection of books and shoes on a street bench? I don’t know, but these things surely catch my eye as do posters for shows and musical events pasted on the base of street lights. The world overflows with examples of creative people—intentional or not—if we just open our eyes to see them.
